I was talking with a friend the other day who was feeling rather glued to her couch. All the cancelations, difficulties, losses, stresses has her thinking about exercising, trying a new activity, some out door adventure- but not actually doing any of those things. While we know that many are truly suffering, for many others it just feels like a huge wet blanket has descend on the world. This can dampen our creative drive and weaken our expressive muscles. I find most people seem to have taken up getting outside and moving their bodies to help their daily sanity and health, me included. But it can take a push to get that wet blanket off our inner light. Recognizing that we can help, that we matter and are needed can give us the drive to rise up. Ortho-Bionomy harnesses nature, inner nature and nature as a whole, to heal, balance and connect. It can work in an office, at a distance, in a prayer. Our light inspires other lights. I remember Luann Overmeyer talking about the heart chakra as if it were a light house and you could clean the windows. I have found Ortho-Bionomy to be my brilliant guide in grief, in joy, in love and with wet blankets. If it fits for you to join the Lecture Demonstration class next week that is one way to connect and renew with Ortho-Bionomy and share it with others. If that does not fit, know that Ortho-Bionomy can guide and support you, and give you tools to guide and support others to find healing, aliveness, wholeness and comfort-even off the couch.
