Students learn to discern the body’s innate posture and support the self correcting reflexes with more skill.  In Phase 5 we practice grounding\, being and connecting.  We enhance our hands hands ability to listen.  This class has been called the heart of Ortho-Bionomy.  Students will learn to work with\, support and initiate self correcting reflexes.  You will learn to do less while you achieve more. You will learn history\, principles\, and procedure for Ortho-Bionomy as you learn the techniques for the Spine and Pelvis. You will be amazed at how gently you can work for profoundly deep effect. You will practice techniques for the lumbar\, thoracic and cervical spine as well as the psoas\, ilium and sacrum. With the principles and the procedure\, you will be able to create your own technique\, modifying what you do to suit the person you are working with. the Spine class combined with the Extremities class give students the foundational techniques for the whole body. You’ll be emplying the body’s own wisedom to heal itself\, restoring balance and wellbeing.

The first one will review material from the last class we had before the pandemic\, Sheri Covey’s Impact and Sports Injuries. Not long after that class we were in lock down so many of us did not get to practice the material for months. Beautiful work with scars\, surgeries and injuries.  \nThe second study group will work with reflexes. Remember Sheri’s “what if” reflex? Want to review or learn reflexes? With the procedure and principles you will be able to modify and create techniques to suit the person on your table. Ortho-Bionomy is profoundly respectful\, very gentle and yet amazingly effective.
